Tamela is a country pop singer-songwriter. Born outside of Boston, Tamela currently resides and performs in Montana, though she spends several months a year in Costa Rica. She performs as a solo act as well as performing with various artists in Montana. She also performs with her band, Tipsy, in Costa Rica.
Tamela plays a mix of your favorite country, pop and rock covers at various local venues and private events all over Montana, as well as Playas del Coco, Playa Hermosa, Playa Panama & Playa Ocotal, Costa Rica.
She also writes and performs her own original country pop music. Her first single, “Keep Your Body Movin’”, is an upbeat and catchy country pop song inspired by her love of music, dancing, staying active and family.
The inspiration for her songs comes from her relationships, experiences and her zest for life.
Music has always played a roll in Tamela’s life. At the young age of 16 she was singing for the guests in the main dining room at Chico Hot Springs Resort and she continued to perform in many musicals at The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts (formally known as the Crazy Mountain Productions in the Firehouse 5 Theater) in Livingston, Montana.
A few of her favorite roles include: Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, and Lola in Damn Yankees.
